Hi there, thanks for opening the DeepMIMO, it's really convenient to use.

I got a question here, we can get the channel matrix which is from basestation-i to user-j with the command below:

dataset[i]['user']['channel'][j]
but is there any possibility that we can get the channel matrix which is from user-j to basestation-i ?

Hi @lau,

To obtain the uplink channel, you should take the transpose (over the transmit-receive antennas) of the channel. This is because of the uplink-downlink channel reciprocity.

For the details on channel generation and equations, you can check the document here.

Hi @udemirhan,

Thanks for answering my question.

Assuming a situation with one basestation regarded as a transmitter, another basestation regarded as an intelligent reflecting surface and one user regarded as a receiver, which are remarked as A, R, and B respectively. I can get the channel matrix which is  from A to R with the command below:

dataset[i]['basestation']['channel'][j]

How can i reasonably get the channel matrix which is from A to B with the passive R assisted?
