O2 Dynamic (Outdoor 2) Scenario
O2 scenario
- A dynamic outdoor scenario of three streets and two intersections
- The main street (the horizontal one) has 4 lanes (2 in each direction) of mobile vehicles
- These vehicles change their positions with every scene out of 1000 captured scenes!
- The scenes are continuously sampled from the scenario with 100ms sampling time
- 2 base stations and more than a 115 thousand candidate users
- Datasets are available at operating frequencies 3.4 GHz and 3.5 GHz
Key components
- Two base stations (BSs): BS1 and BS2
- Each antenna array element at each BS is an isotropic antenna
- The height of all BSs is 6 m
- The separation between BS1 and BS2 is 194 m
- BS1 coordinates are (3,10,6) m
- BS2 coordinates are (197,10,6) m
- The positions of the BSs are fixed across all 1000 scenes
- Three uniform x-y user grids (UGs): UG1, UG2, and UG3.
- Total number of users = 116,303 users
- The first user in every user grid is always the user with the lowest (x,y) coordinate
- The height of all user grids is 1 m
- Each antenna array element at each user is an isotropic antenna
- The positions of the user grids are fixed across all 1000 scenes
- First user grid (UG1)
- Distributed on a sidewalk of the main street (the horizontal one), right across the street from BS 1 and BS 2
- Accessed from Row 1 to Row 31 (31 rows in total)
- 1891 users per row (1891 users with the same y coordinate)
- Number of users in UG1 = 58,621 users
- Second user grid (UG2)
- Distributed on the first cross street (the vertical street on the right side of Figure 2)
- Accessed from Row 32 to Row 222 (191 rows in total)
- 151 users per row (151 users with the same y coordinate)
- Number of users in UG2 = 28,841 users
- Third user grid (UG3)
- Distributed on the second cross street (the vertical street on the left side of Figure 2)
- Accessed from Row 223 to Row 413 (191 rows in total)
- 151 users per row (151 users with the same y coordinate)
- Number of users in UG3 = 28,841 users
- The main street (the horizontal one) is 430 m long and 15 m wide
- The main street has 4 lanes (2 in each direction) of mobile vehicles
- The vehicles on the main street change their positions with every scene out of 1000 captured scenes
- The positions of the vehicles at each scene are available for download here.
- Each of the two cross streets (the vertical ones) is 215 m long and 15 m wide
- Each sidewalk is 10 m wide
- The three streets have buildings/houses on both sides
- The height of every building/house is written on it in Figure 2
- As for the propagation model, each channel path can undergo a maximum of 2 reflections, 1 transmission, and 0 diffraction, before reaching the receiver
